Haven’t eaten such a bad carp in a long time. The skin totally shriveled, very little carp meat, only fat and breading. It doesn't help if you put Ingreisch on top of it, which feels like you've been swimming in fat for 1 hour. Complaints were not dealt with at all. Beer and salad was fine.

Carp not recommended, beer and salad okay. Too bad was better in the past.

Beware of carp, it is not freshly slaughtered but is delivered safely slaughtered and is therefore superimposed in the cooling system. Meat is gray and a bland mass. Never again. Salad and beer ok.

Very nice dining room, varied menu and delicious beer, all at fair prices. Sausages and meat cakes have room for taste. I advocate that after various negative experiences, dogs are no longer allowed in the dining room.

Basically a good Franconian restaurant with delicious food! Only for dog owners since this year, since our 4 legged friends and therefore we are no longer wanted, with the flimsy excuse that there are problems with the office ??? But only in this restaurant! Too bad !!! So far we were happy to be there and have always strongly recommended what is now suddenly the opposite!

Unfortunately, the family flair has been lost here too. Dogs are no longer wanted and the service has also become impersonal, and prices have also risen. Loyal customers were no longer for over ten years.

I had a bitter disappointment yesterday for my birthday. My people had their food for 15 minutes before I got mine. After 120 years of experience in the restaurant and brewery, you should be able to serve the food at the same time to a table with 4 adults and 2 children. My husband was finished eating when my carp came. You had to look for the lumberjack steak, but the plate was 2/3 full of fries, as was the hunter's schnitzel. The food was spiced up, the breaded schnitzel and the carp had been in the deep fryer for far too long. The fish was rubbery on the inside, every juiciness of the meat had given way, the schnitzel tasted burned. The breading of the carp was spicy, the fish was not and on the accompanying salad plate was about the amount of a tablespoon of potato salad, so I had wished for more (the potato salad still needed some salt, then it was very tasty). A young girl served and was very friendly, but the waiter completely ignored that I found a hair in the potato salad. Farmers' pub full of farmers, okay, the demand is not that high, it was fully occupied. However, if you are used to good food and good service, you should not go there. I only give a star because of the young, nice service.
